Just when we thought we were over the initial excitement of the mysterious technology that is QR Codes, along came the world’s first QR Codes Film Festival.
Originally organised in Korea, the 11 day screening event was accessible worldwide. Gone are the days where live streaming was considered cool, and say goodbye to the ever so old-school opening night screenings; QR Codes made this one possible.
The initial buzz was contagious (literally). Film-lovers were encouraged to scan a choice of QR Codes that lead them directly to the YouTube Channel’s animated trailer streaming. Viewers were then urged to scan a second Code to be lead to the full screening.
And the icing on top of the already alluring cake? Followers were encouraged to download and distribute a PDF QR Coded poster ready for further fanatics to explore. Want to be a part of it all?
