Got a MINI emergency?

Not to fear, let your iPhone come to the rescue! MINI has launched their new emergency services app offering access to roadside assistance at the click of a button.  

In collaboration with Mondial Assistance UK, MINI has been the first motoring manufacturer to launch this exciting new app. As a part of their ‘MINI connected’ campaign, the brand aims to keep iPhone users connected, on and off the road. If you are a MINI driver, the iPhone app is free to download as long as you have a valid Mini Emergency Services Policy.

If being able to get help if you breakdown (without having to spend ages on the phone to a call centre) isn’t enough, the funky new app allows users to locate their nearest MINI dealership for times when it is needed. And for those roadside worries of waiting around, the app also allows you to track the status of your assistance… Meaning you can pop off to the nearest pub, and be back in time for your rescue!

Now if this app isn’t smart, we don’t know what is…

 

Forget red lipsticks, its all about the red trousers…

Here at apt, we are constantly on the look out for the weird and wonderful, quirky things that push creativity to the max! When we came across the Photo Blog of London’s ‘red trousers community’, we decided to add randomness to our list of look outs!

Over £6000 raised for Cedars Amethyst Trust…An evening to be proud of!

 
With champagne and canapés, apt enjoyed a beautiful evening in celebration of Daryl Greenwood. The event took place at the Prince Michael Hall at Dean Close School on Monday 13^th June where £6300 was raised in aid of Cedars Amethyst Trust. Daryl, who sadly lost her battle to cancer last year, was set to be the face of the Trust.

Cedars Amethyst Trust was set up in 2010 by Cedars Health and Beauty, the award winning salon based in the GL1 leisure centre, Gloucester. The Trust aims to provide relaxation through an extensive range of treatments and well deserved pampering, to cancer patients in the Gloucestershire area. From massages and reflexology to facials and make-up lessons, patients are able to choose any treatment to suit their needs, allowing individuals to come to terms with changes in their body.

In honour of Daryl’s birthday, the evening was organised by Daryl’s Husband Andrew, her daughters and Angie Petkovic, apt’s MD. A silent auction, tickets sales and generous donations all contributed to the fabulous amount raised for the Trust. The 120 guests also enjoyed canapés and entertainment provided by students from the school.
