We're celebrating having had two of our clients win at the prestigious Women in Business Awards, which took place last night at Cheltenham Racecourse.
Debbie Moore, owner of Cedars Health & Beauty in Gloucester was the first on stage when she won the “Contribution To The Community Award” for her tireless fundraising for various charities over the years. In 2010, Debbie established The Cedars Amethyst Trust, to fund free beauty therapy and relaxation treatments for cancer patients throughout Gloucestershire, via the Oncology teams at Cheltenham General Hospital. Next, we were delighted when our inspirational Managing Director, Angie, was announced as a finalist in the “Women In The Workplace Award”. Angie employs 14 of us lovely ladies and was recognised for her accommodating approach in the workplace, enabling her to access some of the skills of top women in Gloucestershire, who are combining their careers with parenting.
The coveted “Woman Of The Year Award” went to another apt client, SOHO Coffee Co. Director Penny Manuel. Penny has been the driving force behind the expansion of SOHO Coffee Co. from 5 to 19 outlets within the past 5 years. The company has a turnover of £20 million and is now operating in Europe, as well as having recently opened stores in Manchester and Birmingham.
We're really chuffed and would like to say a huge congratulations to all the finalists and winners for all the categories. A great round-up and photos can be found on South West Business here...
